Never knowing that Buffy was brought back from the dead, Dean doesn't know who or what he is seeing while he is in a coma. With Dean so close to dying, Buffy realizes she needs him in her life.

A/N: It is set in the year 2004 instead of 2006. The only other change made to SPN 2.1, besides adding Buffy characters, is to have all three Winchesters unconscious upon arrival at the hospital. The established relationship between the Winchesters and the Scoobies is based on High School Sweethearts and Second Chances. {which doesn't have to be read to understand this fic}
